Get Petrowski

http://globalnews.ca/news/2352983/60-of-canadians-disagree-with-liberal-plan-to-accept-syrian-refugees-ipsos-poll/

Isn’t it extraordinary that the escalation of bullying continues?

Petrowski’s enemies are becoming bolder and more virile in their attacks.

Liberal MP Bittle condemns Petrowski for not embracing same sex marriage. Does that apply to everyone who does not embrace same sex marriage?

Liberal MP Bittle continues his attack by accusing Petrowski of “hate-filled tirade” for expressing his concern regarding rushing immigration without valid screening!

Former Councilor Jeff Burch has filed a complaint against Police Board member Petrowski for raising concern regarding the difficulty with the screening process and the possible risk inherent in unnecessarily fast tracking the immigration of 25/50 thousand refugees.

It is extraordinary and extreme that anyone would describe a police service board member's concern for public safety, predicated on political haste and suspect screening, as (according to Liberal MP Bittle) “hate-filled tirade”, "hateful comments" or (according to Burch) "Hateful and bigoted''.

A better strategy for our local political assassins and their simple sycophants might have been  to consult with their Liberal Immigration Minister John McCallum, who said; "Canadians aren’t as concerned about the precise number of refugees and when they get here as they are that proper security checks are done on them... "

Questions remain whether or not the St. Catharines 'Standard' Newspaper's leading reporter Grant LeFleche will be allowed to carry on with his vendetta against Regional Councilor Petrowsti or will he be allowed to turn his big guns on others such as the  Liberal Immigration Minister John McCallum.

Will the losing regional candidate Jeff Burch refer to Liberal Immigration Minister John McCallum as "Hateful and Bigoted?

Obviously, Petrowski is not alone in his concern over the risk of inadequate vetting? According to the 'Ipsos poll' '60% of Canadians disagree with the Liberal plan to accept Refugees by 2015'

Absolutely no one has indicated that they want Muslims to be permanently banned from immigration! Considering the gravity of the situation and the possible risks involved, perhaps a little patience is in order.

However, after witnessing a radical Muslim mother go on a killing spree there are millions of Citizens who have become concerned over the screening process.

In the likely event that nothing goes wrong, and we all pray it won’t, everyone will give a big sigh of relief.

But what if something bad happens? Will we look a little foolish for our rush to judgment? Will those piling on Petrowski apologize? Will they do the honorable thing and resign?

After all, the piling on of Petrowski isn’t new! It started before he even threw his hat into the ring of politics! Once the ‘Old Guard’ determined that Petrowski was a threat to their pork barrel inclinations they began their scheming to get rid of him. This new round of squalid attacks on Petrowski is obviously just a continuation.

Public Opinions

The Petrowski affair is like a bunch of little boys playing in a sand box, and having nothing better to do than ganging up on one of their playmates. This is my take on it. Starting with MP Chris Bittle, you can clearly see that partisan politics is alive and well in our region.
Reg. Coun. Andy Petrowski’s detractors are envious of him. Why? Because he’s a doer, and gets more ink than all the other councillors combined.
If we didn’t have councillors Petrowski and Bob Gale on the police services board, it would leave the police commission unfettered, which could lead to the bankruptcy of the region.
It’s a divergency tactic creating a “holier than thou” attitude. If this were a football game, the detractors would be penalized, for an infraction of a rule called “piling-on.” Shame? I know where it really lies.

PETROWSKI REPRESENTS
MANY PEOPLE
Although MP Chris Bittle is politically correct, he dodges the issue that many of us have about the Muslim religion.
I don’t hate anyone and as long as anyone entering this country embraces its flavour, morals and way of life, I am good with it. But I draw a line at anyone who condemns our way of life and expects us to change on the basis of religion.
Andy Petrowski is representing a lot of people. Is it politically correct? No. But how can it be?
Political correctness is not listening to the people who have lived here all of their lives. Bittle isn’t listening to the concerns of the people. He is trying to silence the fear and the concern.
Petrowski, the voice of many, is doing the job he was elected to do. He is not grandstanding at the airport like the prime minister, the premier of Ontario and the mayor of Toronto for a big photo opportunity. He is representing the people of his area and taking shots from the politically correct.
I would ask those that condemn him to educate us and explain to us how (our fears) will be dealt with. Do no demean people like Andy Petrowski. Embrace him for telling it like it is.

I certainly agree with screening immigrants but Turkey doing screening?  I think not.  I have watched the video's of the immigrants pouring water on their kids and getting them to roll around and fake cry and then clap when done.  The film of the Germans welcoming the people.  The immigrants threw down the food they were given.  They complained about the accommodations.  They rushed the streets in groups and claimed that they would f every woman and mate her and eliminate the German race.  The groups beat severely or killed so many men and raped the women and children.  A horrible incident was killing a 7 year old girl in the park after raping her.  This incident is not uncommon.  In France in the 4 separate easy killing sprees, they determined it was immigrants some let into the country for immigration others joined them and tried to destroy them.  I personally don't want any immigrants from Syria here at all.  The horror I watched on internet was terrible and world leaders have stated there is no way to stop them once they have been let in.  What more does Canada need to hear to not let them in????  Put it off for a year and think about it.  I mean a year not til January.  If a Canadian had watched one of the internet films where the country was welcoming them and getting beaten up for doing it and told they will annihilate the race I think they would agree too.  Never mind the Prime Minister's flowers instead of weapons.  omg  Ok  let them in and kill all the men and rape and breed with the woman and children and then kill children after raping them and old women etc.. Ruin Canada like they are doing to the other countries who welcomed them.  It is all a fake.

MP’s VIEWS NOT REPRESENTATIVE
Regarding regional Coun. Andy Petrowski, MP Chris Bittle, does not represent the views of a majority of St Catharines residents.
I get the feeling that someone else is pulling Bittle’s strings, and the last thing this city needs in Ottawa is a puppet.
Up in Ottawa Bittle should be worrying about the TPP and how it’ll impact us here in St Catharines. He should be worrying about getting good paying jobs for us residents of St. Catharines. He should be worrying about cancelling the F-35. He should be worrying about getting our military out of Syria.
He should not be worrying about Andy Petrowski. When we’ve had enough of him, we shall let him know.

LET PETROWSKI DO HIS JOB
Much has already been stated and discussed concerning the comments by regional Coun. Andy Petrowski. I agree that Petrowski is vocal and expresses his opinions in a strong manner, but that is not hate towards others or hate speech.
He is concerned about the safety and well being of Niagara residents and Canadians. As a regional councillor elected through the democratic process, it is incumbent upon him to speak for those whom he represents.
St. Catharines MP Chris Bittle should review his jurisdiction. The remarks by Bittle about Petrowski were not only out of place, they were hurtful and a retraction is in order.
Let Andy do his job.

The year end is the perfect time for a performance review of this Ontario Liberal government.
Here they are: Unemployment rate above the national average, GDP growth below the national average and income below the national average. A doubling of the debt over the past 10 years and a net exodus of people from Ontario.
Add to this growth killing policies through higher labour costs and the highest electricity costs in North America.
Ontario is now a have-not province, qualified for equalization payments or hand outs from the federal government.
To those who voted for this government in order to save their jobs: Was it worth it?

  1. If Andy Petrwoski’s got it wrong, then do most of the people I encounter in my travels. Everywhere I go the topic is Syrian refugees. No one is saying that they don’t want them. What I hear is many expressing fear regarding the fast process to bring them to Canada. I don’t believe our local politicians have a REAL IDEA what many Canadians are saying because they are not interacting with the people on the street. Many are concerned with the haste of the process and asking how we have millions of dollars for this venture when our poor have been ill treated for decades, i.e., on waiting lists for housing and dependant on food banks to keep them from starving. How is it that we can suddenly process refugees this fast when landed immigrants must wait anxiously for years to receive word that we will accept them as Canadian citizens? The question on everyone’s mind is who will step forward and be accountable if a ‘mistake’ is made in this hasty process? Signed: Erika Furney, Immigrant from 1961

  2. What politicians fail to realize, is that these are not like "refugees", coming from war-torn countries, trying to escape a corrupt gov't, or an invading country. They are coming from a region that has had problems with in-fighting, and violence for many hundreds of years. They know a totally different life, and culture, than we do, and many have no interest, in adapting to our culture. They expect to be supported, better than people who've lived here all their lives. Look at the problems experienced by countries in Europe, who have allowed their countries to be devastated by mass immigration, only to attempt to close the barn door, after the cows have escaped. We know that a certain percentage of the immigrants coming in, will hold extremist views, which they will likely pass on through the generations. We need to pay more attention to who we are allowing into Canada, our home. We owe it to our families, and communities.
