News Alert Niagara is a Blog

Following decades of printing a hard copy news journal titled 'The Mirror on line', 'News Alert Niagara' has been doing its part since 2012 by participating in our own small way with over 500 million other blogs that exist online today?

Blogs, in one form or another, have been around for almost as long as the internet. In the earlier days, they were referred to as "weblogs", which was mainly a simple descriptor for what they are.

A blog is a type of website that logs information. This is typically in the form of a chronologically ordered set of posts or articles. Some websites use it to showcase events or news, some to answer common questions, and others as a type of journal. Most of the time, a blog will focus on a certain topic, and have different blog posts discussing different elements of that subject.

The person who updates a blog is called a "blogger".
.
Blog posts are mainly the word content, but, as with 'News Alert Niagara', they can also include images, videos, and infographics. Often times, blogs will leave the option for people to comment under individual posts.

Have you ever looked up a recipe and see people comment under the recipe how they changed it? That recipe is a blog post.
.
Another feature that blogs tend to have is the ability for blog visitors to subscribe via an RSS feed. That way, they get a notification when a new post is added.
.
You can typically add keywords called tags, which lets people know what the post is about. Blogs create "evergreen" content, which means that it doesn't necessarily get less popular as it gets older, like social media posts might. The more a blog post gets visits, the more likely it is to show up in a search when someone asks a related question.
.
A blog can be the entire website or a part of a website. It depends on the reason for the blog. If someone's whole business is blogging, like those that post recipes, then there is often no reason for a regular website. If someone's business is real estate, they would want a website so they can showcase properties, list their qualifications, and have a page for contacting them. A blog for this person would be a secondary part of the website, where they might write informational posts about the importance of good credit when buying a house and the best time of the year for the housing market.

Every blog will be different, but almost anyone can find a reason to blog!

However, if your reason to blog is to fight for justice you will learn that evil will find you. It will pour out of the woodwork in every effort to stop you. Shining the lite on corruption and injustice  or even the perception of exposing corruption will escalate all kinds of retaliation to your efforts. The very sight of your camera or recording device can spark immediate and irrational physical reaction!

Clumsy miscreant retaliation will reveal charlatans, liars and even thieves. Abusers of power will use every trick known in an effort to protect their cabal of crime. Unelected Bureaucrats will get your efforts categorized a 'SPAM' as a way to block your emails from reaching elected officials and they will use taxpayer money and resources to accomplish their misdeeds of illegally interfering with mail.
.
Bloggers like 'News Alert Niagara' follow stories of bureaucratic and/or political abuse, which eventually leads to monitoring courtroom activities.

Number136 of the Courts of Justice Act permits a Journalist to unobtrusively audio record a court hearing. Be sure to identify your intention of audio recording to the judge.
