We even understand this malignant conduct with under-educated and inadequately trained police officers in the USA.

We do not expect this criminal behavior in Canada and we are not going to tolerate coercion from anyone much less a police officer!

So what pops up on television's YouTube?

The misconduct displayed in the 18 minute/28 second video prompted a Google search of the Calgary Police Department, which uncovered systemic criminal corruption within the Calgary Police Service.

Tragically, we don't have the name of the hero that stood up to the tyrannical onslaught of Officer Heikkinen because we would like to salute him for  standing firm in his defense of our Canadian Charter of Rights and freedoms.

Our Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom are our defense precisely against government abuse and tyranny just as the abuse of the 'First Amendment' of the U.S Constitution!

The tragedy is that the breaking of the highest law of the land regarding our Canadian Charter of Rights and freedoms holds no penalty for the perpetrators!

Officer Heikkinen's disrespectful conduct garnered a whopping 4,610 negative  comments!

The coronavirus traveled all over the world from Wuhan China, but it did not reach Beijing or Shanghai or other major cities in China. Can anyone explain how is that possible?

Everything happened so fast that everyone was speechless.

4. They caused chaos in the world, beginning with Europe and the rest of the western worlds.

5. Quickly decimating the economies of dozens of countries.

6. Stop production and manufacturing lines in factories and primary production in dozens of countries.

7. Causing the stock markets to crash and then they bought stocks, bonds and companies at bargain prices.

8. They then quickly gained control of the epidemic in their country. After all, they were ready and he was never really out of control.

9. In all this, they managed to lower the price of basic products, including the price of oil.

10. Now they are going back to mass production while the rest of the world is stopped.

Also note how quickly Chinese unions activated to "hoard" purchases of bus cargo to regional shopping centers across Australia, stripping our shelves of toilet paper and staple foods.

It happened before most of us knew what was happening, even before we knew what the Coronavirus was.

Food Supply Untenable

Open Letter to the Honourable Jeff Yurek, Minister of The Environment, Conservation and Parks from Bob Weimeir

Dear Minister of the Environment, MPP Jeff Yurek

I am reaching out to you with an urgent request. The urgency comes from reading a newspaper article stating there could be a food shortage stemming from events and restrictions worldwide caused by the Covid-19 virus. 

.

While recognizing journalists thrive on sensationalism, the fact remains Ontario is far from self-sufficient in its food production. There are many acres of prime agricultural land not being used today because of incorrect mapping done by both the Ministry if Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and the conservation authorities. 

.

These lands have been used to feed the populace for over 150 years. 

.

Make no mistake, farmers make their living off the land and would not do anything to harm the environment that sustains them. If the mapping didn’t restrict our farmers, there could potentially be thousands of acres available to replenish store shelves. Two deterrents lie in their path. One is the availability of seed. Farmers must think ahead at least six months to order the various seed. 

.

Hopefully this won’t be a problem as most companies overstock a little for a margin of error. 

.

The second one is actually being able to put this land back into production.

.

I applaud Premier Ford for stating we can produce anything we need in Ontario. The Premier and all the Ministers are doing an outstanding job against the worst odds any Government could envision. 

.

We, the farming community, would like the chance to do our part to relieve some of the burden you all are carrying. Growing food is what we have done since before Canada was a country.

.

In their Collective wisdom or perhaps their collective anger the Citizens of Ontario totally decimated the Kathleen Wynne Liberal Government and for good reason!

Unfortunately, the kwynne-a-virus migrated to the federal government of PM Trudeau. Suffering from kwynne-a-virus Trudeau attempted to give himself dictatorial powers. Fortunately, the Citizens of Canada had clipped Trudeau's wings to the extent that his attempt at becoming a dictator failed in the face of the opposing parties.

Regrettably the Trudeau sickness known as libranovirus has now migrated to our St. Catharines Municipal Government!  Libranovirus has infected political leaders with a dearth of integrity to use a pandemic to declare dictatorial powers.

The St. Catharines political leaders had no problem coming together 'on-line' for a special meeting to make major decisions regarding taxes and fees pointing to the fact that it is possible to hold council meetings 'on-line' at any time and for any reason putting a lie to the scurrilous excuse to turn power over to the "Mayor's CAO".

So! What's the problem?

Suffering from Libranovirus our political leaders, of proven low integrity, have deemed fit to bestow dictatorial powers to the City's bureaucrats to make decisions without civilian oversight!

The problem with this power grab is a little matter of trust. Its difficult to trust a bureaucrat who clearly states that their new laws are posted on the City's website as if all Citizens are computer savvy and connected to the internet. A municipality cannot claim openness and transparency if any part of its Citizenry is left out of pertinent information!

Time to cut out the middleman and bring actual transparency directly to the Citizen.

There is an old adage which says that 'silence is consent'. Perhaps that is the reason that not one of our elected City Councilors deemed it necessary to respond after our blistering article titled

'The Mayor & His Deceivers'. Not even the Councilors we contacted one on one! Not one of our mandarins bothered to challenge us on our content. Not one offered their interpretation or pointed out any misinformation - nothing! So perhaps we can be forgiven if we brag about our veracity.
