The Lesson in Integrity

On June 17, 2022 News Alert Niagara sent a 'heads up alert' to the following St. Catharines City Councilors to alert them to an upcoming unflattering article titled 'The best laid plans of mice and men' criticizing the conduct of the mayor and Council on their decision making.

Remember that the contretemps awakening can be viewed starting at the 1:50 mark of the Catharines City Council Meeting - June 13, 2022 where you can witness smug 'Commerce Killing' decision makers pontificating from their comfortable pew perspective!

To this date we have not heard from these integrity laden civic leaders; not from the long term Councilors who sat through the degradation of our once 'Shining City on the Hill' and not even from those councilors seeking higher office!

Worse yet, we have not heard from Councilors that were once respected!

The aim of our efforts to give our civic leaders a courtesy heads up to our unflattering article was to provide them the opportunity correct any and all content or at least to have their say; to give their side of the story or even to makes excuses!

What we got was an arrogant silence which delivered a monumental lesson in Integrity!
