It used to be that crime and corruption in government was the occasional acceptance. Now, crime and corruption is a weekly newscast and getting more worrisome by the day.
At present we are faced with a continuous web of 
liars, perjurers, cheats, fraudsters, thieves, villains and creeps of every description blatantly and brazenly circulating among government entities with absolutely nothing to hold them in check.

These white-collar criminals leave one government entity under a cloud of unlawful behavior only to surface in another government entity, even in a higher office, to prey upon another unsuspecting Citizenry as if they have been absolved of their misdeeds.

Perhaps there were fewer instances of crime and corruption in the past.

However, crime and corruption has escalated since 
the advent of the much hated McGuinty/Wynne regime. In fact the Wynne Regime was so hated that the electorate punished her regime to a spectacular loss down to non-party status.

As a reward to the Citizens, the members of the hated Wynne regime metastasized escalating crime and corruption to other government entities.

Crime and corruption has metastasized to our Police, our Courts, our Media, crooked public contracts and every aspect of public and political life.
The question is why is the metastasizing of crime and corruption taking place?

The answer lies in the fact that there is general speculation that there is no consequence for crime and corruption in government!
.
The first indication of lack of consequence can be found in the words "we'll just have to make sure it doesn't happen again".
.
The next indication of lack of consequence is when you hear "holding criminals to account will be too expensive".
.
So, who are the enablers that aid and abet the exponential explosion of crime and corruption lurking in our government and among our authorities?

Sadly, we don't have enough good elected people to override the abettors and enablers leaving the only option currently open, which is our right to vote, our right to vote miscreants out of office and to keep voting them out of office until the crime and corruption is mitigated.

Considering the proven amount of damage caused, in a mere four years, by the criminal occupiers in charge of our government it becomes self-evident that Canada needs 'Recall Legislation' as protection from would-be criminals among those we have elected and hired.
A vote of non confidence would work if there were enough honest people left in government. Even the useless Governor General cannot be counted on because she is bought and paid for with the tax payer dollars.
