In our News Alert Niagara article titled 'The Great Political Con Job' we stated categorically that:
Bureaucratic offloading of responsibility has created an overabundance of resource-consuming agencies requiring 25% of our workforce, which is causing the despicable desperation for cash and is the primary driver of poverty and homelessness. .
No amount of 'Machiavellian Scheming' can overcome the imbalance of too much overhead!

.So just what is the Regime's cure for poverty and homelessness?
Pay themselves more money!
PS. The disclosure of the unwarranted salaries of the secretive, unaccountable and unnecessary Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority proves the point of resource consumption!

ReplyDeletePremier Ford's government should take a look at the 600 commissions, boards and agencies, have them re-assessed to see if they are still current or past their expiry date, like the Niagara Escarpment Commission. The savings can be put towards serving those in need, be it housing or monies towards mental health issues. I'd like to see us STOP feeding the greedy politicians who have received patronage appointments.
