Government Crime Sanctioned

As previously reported, the Niagara Regional Secret Police refused to investigate serious criminal activity.

News Alert Niagara reported the criminal activity to every department including the Niagara Regional Secret Police Service Board and even to the Office of the Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD) and all the way to the Premier of Ontario!

At every turn we received excuses as to why the reported criminal activities could not or should not be investigated.

We did NOT create the law in question. Nor did we set the penalty of years in prison plus severe monetary fine.

We foolishly believed that reporting criminal activity was somewhat and somehow meaningful and that reporting serious criminal activity meant something in a civilized society. It appears that we were mistaken!

However, we even wasted our effort to send the following letter (Twice) informing our esteemed Regional Councilors of criminal activities! Only one Councilor responded...

Dear Regional Councilor

Now that you have been made aware of criminal activity in the Niagara Regional Government and the refusal of the Nagara Regional Police to investigate this criminal activity, please explain what you have done on behalf of your constituents regarding criminal activities or even if you have spoken up on behalf of your constituents about criminal activities.

News Alert Nagara has a duty to inform Niagara Citizens what action you have or have not taken against criminal activities in our Regional Government or the fact that our Niagara Regional Police refuses to investigate serious criminal activity. Criminal activity that carries prison time of ten years for the crime of interference and/or interception of emails!

A non-response will be categorized as your failure to your constituents in the face of criminal activity.

The final straw was the following response from the OIPRD as follows:

Section 60(4) of the Police Services Act allows the Director to decide not to deal with a complaint if, having regard to all the circumstances, in his opinion, dealing with the complaint is not in the public interest.

According to OIPRD Director Stephen Leach, investigating the interception of emails from citizens to their elected officials is not in the public interest!

The much ballyhooed Ontario Ombudsman's Office, who received a copy of this article failed to even respond to our complaint or acknowledge that they even heard from us!

Every single politician making claims of protecting constituents from crime has bothered to ask about this article!

According to john Locke, Wherever Law ends, Tyranny begins.

Obviously the over-abundance of costly levels of oversight bodies act AGAINST the public interest when it comes to criminal activity perpetrated by Government!

News Alert Niagara considers this episode to be an extraordinary example of wilful dereliction of duty by all concerned both hired and elected.

The Other Team

How long after a person is hired or elected before they start swinging for the 'Home Team', the 'Ruling Team', the 'Team in Charge', the Team that now has become the antithesis of the very oath they swore to uphold. How long before they accept inhospitable conduct, lies, deception and perjury. When did they acquiesce to empire building, triple digit tax increases and an obscene overload of politicians & bureaucrats! What compels them to sit in silence as abuse is piled onto the other team including physical assault and even criminal activity!

How is it that the most scenic and beautiful region in the world can be drowned in such a deep political cesspool of failure, excuses and blaming of others?

'News Alert Niagara' decided to look around in an attempt to find a comparable city to St. Catharines. We found Ajax in the Region of Durham situated just across Lake Ontario. In fact Ajax sits on the shore of Lake Ontario just like St. Catharines.

Niagara Regime admits failure

They admit their failure by proposing what they are going to do in the future!

As outlined in “Growing Better Together: Council Strategic Priorities 2023-2026”, councillors will focus on creating and promoting a regional government that is Effective, Green and Resilient, Equitable, and Prosperous.

What they are proposing to do in the future is exactly what they should have been doing since their inception in 1970!

Does Niagara Regional Government stoop to Criminal Activity?

Good 'ole Lying Lieberal, little Jimmy (Doolitle) Bradley, Niagara Regional Chairman Stated that Oversight and Scrutiny are not only unnecessary but bothersome!

WOW!

What kind of pampered politician would consider Oversight and Scrutiny of government as unnecessary and bothersome only to prove the necessity by resorting to criminal activity to conceal conduct?

Perhaps, fifty years of unaccountable elitist behavior has shaped his arrogant opinion.

We may never know the reason Bradley proceeded down the road of criminal activity to shield against public scrutiny of his regime, but we do know what lead News Alert Niagara to follow step by step through a myriad of roadblocks to its logical conclusion of criminal corruption.

Having gone through the stage of apprising the Niagara Regional Police (NRP) of serious crime, a crime that carries a ten year prison sentence, a crime much different than inconveniencing 1700 motorists to find a handful of somewhat over the limit drinking drivers who must be shamed publicly in the news media without ever stating their level of intoxication.

Not only did we do our duty of informing the NRP, which we did to no avail, but we also reached out to the NRPSB, the so-called civilian service board with NO civilians (only political hacks) where we were equally rebuffed on their stated opinion that they have no mandate to tell the police how to do their job.

We did NOT ask the NRPSB to tell the police how to do there job!

We asked them to bring our concerns of serious crime to the NRP.

When we finally caved to their stonewalling we asked if we could present to the board only to receive the following, "In consultation with the Board Chair and Board Vice-Chair, your request to make a presentation is declined because the Board has no legislative jurisdiction over operational policing matter..."

That is where it stayed until we finally hand delivered our written request, which could not be emailed to the Niagara Regional clerk's office, predicated on criminal activity.

The response to the hard copy of our request;

Good morning Mr. Haskell,

The Clerk’s Office is in receipt of your letter (attached) alleging possible criminal activity by Niagara Regional Government. Based on your correspondence, it isn’t clear if you want to engage with someone in our Communications Department with respect to this matter so I have copied Sean O’Brady, Associate Director, Strategic Communications and Public Affairs, failing which criminal matters fall under the jurisdiction of the Niagara Regional Police therefore you may wish to redirect your correspondence accordingly.

Our hand delivered hard copy to the clerk's office did produce results!

Suddenly email communication opened up as if someone tipped off the perpetrator that citizens were on to their criminal activities.

Of the thirty-one elected officials that make up the political body of the Niagara Regional Government only twelve bothered to even read your request. .

Of the twelve Councillors that did respond their common theme was to take our request to the police.

One Regional Councillor promised to get our message of crime and corruption to the office of NRP Chief MacCulloch. Still Waiting!

Then there was a single Councillor who offered assistance in getting our request to the right people including our MPP.

In our effort of exposing political corruption in Niagara we have encountered Lies & Liars, Perjury & Perjurers, Physical Assault, failed Arrest attempt, Theft of journalist's equipment, Municipal abuse, Human rights deniers and now we have apparently arrived at criminal code violations aided and abetted by a police state that decides which law they wish to enforce!

Now that we know who the police 'Serve and Protect' we must assume their exponentially outrageous empire building that could be considered as an overly expensive protection racket!

Make no mistake, News Alert Niagara will climb this corruption empire to the bitter end!

Councilor Fidelity

Those of us who watched the Niagara Regional Council Meeting May 18, 2023 were treated at the (33: Minute Mark) to the Chairmen Little Jimmie (Do Little) Bradley pontificating as Voltaire's famous Candide regarding his 'best of all possible worlds' while singing Edward & Raleigh's 'Wonderful, Wonderful' for a tedious quarter of an hour only to be outed with a truth bomb by Councilor Morocco at the (2:45 Minute Mark!)

And just what was chair Do Little's best of all possible worlds bragging points?

Why none other than begging other better run municipalities to bail out the over-governed and highest taxed Niagara Region!

What you will hear at this council meeting is a feigned concern for seniors in nursing homes!

What you will not hear at this council meeting, even during the Notice of Motion (3:15 Minute Mark) is any mention of the total destruction of a senior Citizen named Ray Desmarais.

Each and every Regional Councilor was PERSNALLY apprised of the Ray Desmarais tragic situation and not one of our esteemed councilors dared to ask for information from the perpetrators present preferring instead to pretend they were not informed!

News Alert Niagara: Clyde Do Something

Even those councilors we would expect at the very least to enquire into this sordid public story sat in stony silence as if political abuse of one single Niagara Senior Citizen was of no concern of theirs!

Thousands witnessed 'News Alert Niagara' call out our overabundance of Niagara Regional Councilors to do something about Citizen Abuse.

Desmarais ran afoul of the powers that be in the municipality of his town when he made the innocent mistake of standing up for Mr. Dan Favero; a fellow Citizen who was under attack by the municipality; a municipality functioning on behalf of a landlocked housing development; a housing development that needed the Favero property for access to the housing development!

The municipality of Fort Erie tried everything costing the Favero family an excess of $400 Million in legal fees to defend their rightful ownership of their property. The evil bastards of this FE border Town did all this in their effort to destroy Favero in an effort to avoid the expense of expropriation which would force a proper settlement.

Now thousands will witness the shameful infidelity of our 31 Niagara Regional Councilors turning the backs on political abuse of a Niagara Senior Citizen!

Clyde Do Something

Because doing nothing helps no one

That is the 'Highway' that Mr. Ray Desmarais has now found himself railroaded on!

Desmarais is a Senior Citizen, Grandfather and unfortunately a resident of Fort Erie, Ontario.

Does this sound like proper society?

Or does this sound like a 'B' movie scenario?

They blamed Desmarais for their failure to hijack the Favero property!

There appears to be no other explanation for the municipality to so viciously go after Desmarais on the factitious excuse of cleaning up the town. Hell, they had to pass, climb and even crawl through openly visible eyesores to get to the Desmarais thoroughly concealed fenced in work yard! News Alert Niagara exposed the municipality's conduct in a February 2021 article titled 'Who Authorized Destruction?'

We never did find out who authorized the demolition and theft of the Desmarais property and the total destruction of his life, but we know who was in charge of the sordid operation. We didn't find out because not one of the regime's feckless gang would even respond! In fact not one of the MPs or MPPs or even the NRSP would respond or even comment on why the destructive treatment of Mr. Desmarais! Please compare Mr. Desmarais' transgressions to the violent criminals walking our streets! Border Regime Mentality?

To this day there has been no explanation from anyone as to why Mr. Desmarais was sent on such a 'highway to hell'! What else can be expected from a corrupted police force that carries out a municipality's dirty work while ignoring municipal criminal activity! A police force becomes corrupted by lack of a strong civilian police oversight board!

Mr. Desmarais has paid one hell of price for having a discreet messy work yard unlike the hellish pile of trash so prominently and publicly displayed in the Fort Erie work yard!

Mr. Desmarais is still going though hell with the town trying to get his Facebook page shut down within 24 hours in an effort to silence him! He is still being harassed by the notorious bylaw officer John Bridgeman deliberately hounding Desmarais by placing a $300 ticket (April 12, 2023) on his handicap permitted car for parking in a handicap zone.

Even the court system is assisting in Desmarais demise by evading his day in court; running him around faulty court dates; demanding expensive requests that a destroyed person can not afford and even trying to dismiss him altogether!
