The Banker

Back in the nineties, perhaps because of the blatant misconduct of Canada's Charter Banks, Preston Haskell, photographer wrote a book titled 'Charter of Greed'.

Haskell witnessed the abuse the Charter Banks handed out to Canadian small businesses and farmers. The common joke of the day was the Banks lend you an umbrella under their claim they were your faithful partner but at the first drop off rain they immediately demand their umbrella back!

Things got so bad that one Canadian Province had to tell the banks that if they advertised to be "your partner, Partner" then they better act like it or leave the province!

Now Haskell is alarmed that a BANKER is in charge of the country!
