Property owners who have had their property rights taken from them have decided to inform the public of how Municipalities through their Conservation Authorities are perpetrating tyranny under the 'Shield of Law' and in the 'Name of Justice'.

The death of Lady Justice

There is no Crueler Tyranny than that which is perpetrated under the 'Shield of Law' and in the 'Name of Justice'.

What can be crueler than to watch your human and constitutional rights twisted beyond all recognition. For an innocent Canadian who has offended no one or committed no wrong (not even the theft of a loaf of bread)  to be forced into court, is wrong and not 'Shielded by Law'. 

To win in court only to have your case appealed by a Victor Hugo like character, (from the novel Les Miserables) complete with a wanton zeal to see his brand of 'Financial Injustice' on behalf of an extortionist regime!

You watch as the prosecutor destroys your 'Shield of Law' by manipulating timelines, hiding your accuser, disqualifies your decades long recognized arborist in favor of college student (with degree) who just happens to be an employee of the same extortionist regime that is prosecuting you in the 'Name of Justice'!

You stand there with the prosecutor on your right, facing the bench; a bench with a 'Justice' who also just happens to be a former associate member of the same extortionist regime that is prosecuting you in the 'Name of Justice'!

Years ago Niagara was blessed with a courageous radio commentator named Laura Sabia.

Through the fog of time I can still recall one of her most frequent and formidable comments

So often when commenting on matters of law and the Law's effect on her listeners she would exclaim 'The Law is an ASS' and spoken with as much disgust as she could muster. 

Even though Mrs. Sabia suffered from an acute case of common sense I still couldn't fathom her rage against our legal system or how she came to such virile sentiment.

Until now!

Decades ago I became involved with a group called the 'Niagara Winners Circle'. First in black and white and then in colour hard copy newsletters. In 2006 we switched to our current format 'The Mirror on line' Magazine.

So what has changed?


Here's what has changed! Following along with my interviews, articles and subsequent court trials it started to sink in that something is wrong with our judicial system. I tried to articulate the sad story of Mark Barnfield who did everything right to start his little business in Welland, Ontario only to be destroyed by the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) in league with the municipal government!

On top of going back to college, getting all required permits and even paying $thousands for an environment assessment the NPCA crushed that hapless family after their first few sales and on what basis?

On the basis of connected underground aquifers, a non-existent Black Gum Tree and a dead turtle skeleton in the roadside ditch. 

Officials of the NPCA trespassed on his private property to gather spurious evidence and to take inadmissible pictures. The NPCA staked out swaths of Barnfield's property which the NPCA laid claim to and to which Barnfield was denied right of use!

To date the NPCA has never produced evidence that it had or has legal authority and/or jurisdiction over private property.

The Laws permitting this lunacy run closely akin to the old witch-craft trials to the extent that not one of the justices adjudicating Mr. Barmfied's case bothered to ask what the citizen was doing in court?

But this story gets worse - Much Worse !

We slowly became cognizant of a common theme behind the vicious assaults on individual property owners. The conservation authorities would offer the property owners absolution if they would simply plead guilty and pay a suggested fine. 

The hapless property owner could either pay $thousands in fines or spend $tens of thousands to hire a lawyer, court costs and expenses in a vain effort to defend themselves. 

Keep in mind that this conduct was only applied to individual citizens; not to developers and not even to the worst of polluters !

So there you have it! The environment can go to hell as long as the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority can extort a few $bucks toward their grasping empire building. 

This extortion and greed is being conducted with blessing of the most over-bloated number of sleazy politicians anywhere in Canada!

Remember Australia’s gun buyback confiscation program? It received more undeserved, empty praise than Lena Dunham’s underwear selfies. American leftists don’t live in Australia, so they don’t see the results of the gun ban (or they do, and don’t give two craps about “results). So here’s the thing about gun control: it’s supposed to make gun crime go down, right? You know, as in not up. Looking at these numbers, I’d say that the whole “no guns” thing backfired… 

The worst part? Australian politicians tout gun control as an achievement… Meanwhile there’s more guns in the hands of criminals than ever, and law abiding Australians can’t even legally defend themselves.
We’ve known that Australia’s gun control is a big bucket of suck for a while now (see Australia’s Gun Ban Results in More Guns Than Ever… New Findings.). But this adds confirmation gun control doesn’t make people safer. In most instances, it makes people less safe. Hence the major increase in gun-related crimes.

  Hydro rates going up this summer, Ontario Energy Board says OEB says milder winter is to blame for rate hikes, which will add about $3 to average
monthly bill.

This is ridiculous! Only in Ontario would customers be penalized for reduced electricity consumption. We do the things we are supposed to do: get smart meters, turn down the temperature,  use the dryer dish washer on off hours, turn off lights etc. and yet we still get ripped off. So if we have a hot summer and consumption goes back up again, will they reduce rates? Not a chance!! What other business, other than this monopoly, could get away with this !    "As a result of lower usage, Regulated Price Plan (RPP) prices did not recover the full cost of serving RPP customers. One of the main reasons prices are increasing in May is to recover this shortfall."  What a bunch of baloney!

Salaries Related to Ontario's Hydro Costs between the Ontario Energy Board
(OEB), Hydro One and the Ontario Power Generation (OPG) (all three Public
Sector Agencies) there are 11,879 employees who make more than
$100,000/Year! These top earners draw combined annual earnings of over 1.6
billion dollars. There are 626 making more than $200,000/Year. According to
the Globe and Mail, a whopping 77.5% of Ontario Power Generation employees
make over $100,000/Year. Over 70%
of Hydro One employees and over 60% of Ontario Energy Board employees make
over 100K.

Attack on Wetland Protectors
Then there is the story of a couple who made the big mistake of purchasing a so-called ‘Provincially Significant Wetland’ (PSW) predicated on their love of all things in nature.
Mistake, because taking on the obligation as official PSW managers, they have suffered harassment, extortion and even malicious persecution, which the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority has been known for.

Perhaps no other story epitomizes the tyrannical predilection of the Niagara Peninsula Conserva-tion Authority as that of Mr. Len Greenaway's story recently written in Niagara this Week Newspaper.
The NPCA cannot claim any description other than tyrannical when it accepts donated property and then cuts off common and traditional emer-gency water supply simply because it has ac-quired that power!

Perhaps no other story symbolizes the corruption of our Conservation Authority than the despicable display of bending the rules for developers while throwing the book at innocent Citizens.
The developer in question, with the sanction of the Conservation Authority and the municipality, broke rules and abused the environment far beyond what ordinary property owners have been totally destroy over!
The Conservation Authority pretends their rules are law and gives them the right to contravene Constitutional and Human Rights!
They go so far as to lay claim of authority over private property to the lunacy of claiming authority, predicated on their self-created map lines that even runs through peoples gardens, barns, drive-ways and even homes!

Where is the Justice
This crime story began when Conservation author-ity drained ‘CONSERVATION Land’ onto the White Family farm. Mr. White senior died under the strain of illicit litigation leaving Son Dave and his Mother to carry on defending their innocence against NPCA employee perjurers, who were themselves terminated for not lying good enough!
Dave complained because the CA was flooding his land. So the Conservation Authority simply changed the designation of Dave’s land to wetland and charged him and his mother with farming a wetland. After four years in court, their entire life savings was sucked out of them.
The Region’s lawyer, representing the Conservation Authority asked the judge to have Dave White and his 82-year-old mother thrown into prison for 2 years and he also requested a $50,000 fine plus costs and all this in the NPCA’s failed attempt to pad their bank account.
However, Dave had proven that the Conservation Authority had changed the mapping and the water course flow in the creeks — among other things — to suit their own case.
In the end, the judge saw through the malicious scheme and chastised Niagara Region's Lawyer for using the court system as a weapon against common people.

Obviously one must assume that they are no longer fit for re-election!

New Police Fortresses, Military Tanks and Armed Police Boats demanded by our Niagara Regional Police FORCE (NRPF).

The stated reason for this level of power is for PUBLIC SAFETY!

A question pops up as to whether our $400K NRPF Chief  McGuire would have used tanks against innocent civilians during his squalid G20 misconduct?

 Question: When in the history of Niagara has there ever been a need for an armored tank for any reason?

Considering the record of police brutality against Niagara Citizens, although by a very few bad apples, can The NRPF be trusted with such military weapons? Will heavy handed use of force trigger backlash?

Cause of Backlash

In the USA the murder of police officers has increased by 72%.

Know-it-alls give every reason for the cop killing except the real reason for cop killing.

Many think that restoring law and order can be accomplished by taking a harder line or even by deploying military weapons.

The only thing this tough guy stance will accomplish is a more strategic backlash!

Has anyone given a thought as to were this mindset will lead?
